Sheer Chance Stable LLC is an entity that is owned by Katelyn Makara. Our focus is to provide an environment for our customer that not only creates a custom program for each individual, but also provides a supportive community.
Sheer Chance Stable LLC at Peace by Piece Farm LLC provides a quiet and serene backdrop for you and your horse to enjoy while training. Even though the property provides tranquillity, it is also set up for the competitive horse and rider in mind. The property has all the amenities to keep training year round.
About the Trainer
Katelyn Makara-Owner/Head Trainer
Katelyn Makara has been an avid horse person her whole life. At a young age she became addicted to the sport. She dedicated all of her free time to the saddle, and the constant learning process. Besides riding, she actively took part in barn chores, as well as, up keeping show horses and their facilities which taught her about becoming a well rounded equestrian.
After working under multiple accomplished trainers, in 2013 Katelyn opened Sheer Chance Stable LLC and has continued to grow SCS ever since. The farm has now grown into a competitive mix of hunter, jumper, and equitation riders who actively compete on the local and rated circuits. Katelyn takes pride in setting up individual routines to help each rider meet their goals.
